Cromwell’s Inn – COVID 19 – Update 19/7/21
COVID 19 has caused many issues for all of us, not least in hospitality. At Cromwell’s we do not agree with the UK governments move to remove all restrictions on Monday the 19th July. It is both reckless and irresponsible, whilst we feel it merely risks causing further distress, issues and u turns down the road.
From Monday the 19th July, it is no longer a legal requirement for us to take customers contact details, but we will be leaving the NHS track and trace QR code at the entrance, for those wishing to continue to use this. There will also be hand sanitizer here and around Cromwell’s for your use.
We will be leaving all other measures in place, our screens both in and outside, posters and social distancing measures and asking customers to respect these, look after themselves, other customers, as well as our staff.
The wearing of face masks is no longer a legal requirement, but is advised by the government to do so inside and in enclosed places and we should therefore continue to do so. We kindly ask everyone to continue to wear a face covering upon arrival, departure and whilst moving about inside Cromwell’s
We will continue to only offer table service and will not serve customers at the bar.
We thank you sincerely for your understating and cooperation.
Please note that due to sheer demand and staffing, being experienced across the industry, we are not always able to take table bookings over the phone. Please try not to call. Please email us as at email@example.com. We will always respond within 24 hours. Same day bookings before midday, or just pop in and we will always try to accommodate you if we have space.
